or related fieldTravel: Occasional customer-site travel is requiredAbout the RoleWe are seeking an entry-level Business Analyst / SaaS Implementation Analyst to support the deployment, configuration, and adoption of our SaaS application in the civil aviation domain.This role is ideal for a recent B.Sc. or M.Sc. graduate with a background in Management Information Systems, Information Science, Business Systems, Data Management, or Business Analytics who wants to build a career at the intersection of software, aviation maintenance, customer implementation, data transformation, and business process improvement.The successful candidate will work with customers, implementation teams, product managers, software engineers, and aviation domain experts to understand customer workflows, document business processes, configure the SaaS application, support data conversion, and help customers successfully adopt new digital operating processes.This is a hands-on role that combines business analysis, SaaS implementation, process mapping, application configuration, data manipulation, change management, and aviation maintenance information systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSaaS Application ImplementationSupport the implementation of a SaaS application for customers in the civil aviation industry.Assist with customer onboarding, system setup, application configuration, user setup, workflow configuration, and implementation testing.Participate in remote and occasional on-site customer implementation activities.Help translate customer operational requirements into software configuration decisions.Support go-live preparation, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and post-implementation follow-up.Work with internal technical teams to communicate customer needs, configuration issues, data challenges, and enhancement requests.Help create implementation documentation, configuration guides, training materials, and customer-facing process notes.Business Analysis and Process MappingWork with customers to understand, extract, and document their business processes.Analyze current-state workflows and help define future-state workflows supported by the SaaS application.Model, map, and document customer processes into the SaaS platform.Identify gaps between customer operating practices and standard SaaS application capabilities.Support requirements gathering, functional analysis, workflow design, user story preparation, and acceptance criteria definition.Help customers understand how their aviation maintenance processes can be digitized, standardized, and improved through the application.Change Management and Customer AdoptionSupport customer change management during SaaS implementation.Help users understand new workflows, system behaviors, data expectations, and operational impacts.Assist in preparing training materials, user guides, process documentation, and adoption support content.Communicate clearly with business users, technical users, and customer project stakeholders.Help identify adoption risks, process friction, data quality issues, and user readiness gaps.Support the transition from legacy tools, spreadsheets, manual workflows, or older systems into a modern SaaS environment.Data Conversion, Data Manipulation, and Technical AnalysisAssist with understanding, converting, cleaning, and manipulating complex data structures.Support data migration and data validation activities related to aviation maintenance information.Work with structured and semi-structured data formats, including spreadsheets, XML, SGML, CSV, JSON, relational data, and technical publication data.Help analyze aviation maintenance data standards and customer data structures.Support mapping of customer data into SaaS application data models.Assist with data quality checks, transformation logic, import validation, and issue resolution.Work with engineering or data teams to troubleshoot conversion issues and implementation blockers.AI, Scripting, and AutomationUse scripting, automation, or AI-enabled tools to improve implementation efficiency.Demonstrate the ability to work with AI agentic platforms, AI scripting tools, code assistants, or automation environments.Assist in creating scripts, prompts, workflows, or lightweight tools to support data cleanup, documentation, testing, or implementation tasks.Apply structured problem-solving to automate repetitive implementation or analysis activities.Work comfortably with modern AI-assisted productivity and software development tools.Required QualificationsB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Management Information Systems, Information Science, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.Strong interest in SaaS software, enterprise applications, business process improvement, and digital transformation.Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into software workflows.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to document requirements, workflows, data mappings, configuration decisions, and customer processes clearly.Comfort working with data in spreadsheets or structured files.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to learn complex software systems and customer business processes quickly.Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.Ability to work from or near the Minnesota Twin Cities area.Demonstrated exposure to scripting, AI-enabled tools, automation tools, or technical problem-solving.Preferred QualificationsExperience or coursework in any of the following is a plus:SaaS application implementation.Business analysis or systems analysis.Aviation frameworks.Process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Draw.io, or similar.Agile software development, user stories, acceptance testing, or product management.Enterprise software, ERP, PLM,
