In this role, you will document the company's financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.ResponsibilitiesEnter financial data and transactionsAnalyze budgets and other financial informationPrepare financial reports and statementsVerify the accuracy of transactions that have been enteredProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableAssign and manage transaction accounts in QuickBooksMaintain sales and expense ledgers in QuickBooksReview and flag unusual or incorrect expensesManage revenue and cost tracking by projectDevelop and maintain a Cost Management Manual (SOP)Handle reimbursement (employee expense claims) processing and approvalsCalculate cost of goods / service delivery costsPrepare monthly income and expense statementsCalculate monthly revenue, expenses, and profit & lossHandle quarterly financial closing reportsCoordinate with tax accountants / CPA firms for compliance mattersEnsure adherence to internal financial policies and audit requirementsQualificationsBilingual proficiency in English and Korean (spoken and written)Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or a related fieldPrevious experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar positionKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPassed the CPA examination (U.S. or equivalent)Proficiency in Korean
