Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Position Overview The Senior Accountant is a key contributor to the organization's financial integrity, reporting accuracy, and strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with leadership to deliver insightful financial analysis, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and continuously improve accounting processes. The Senior Accountant will also provide mentorship to junior staff and play a hands-on role in strengthening the overall accounting function. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare, review, and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAnalyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and communicate insights to managementSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with leadershipGeneral Ledger & Close Oversee general ledger activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliancePerform and review complex account reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepanciesPlay a lead role in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are metLeadership & Oversight Mentor and support junior accounting staff, promoting professional development and accountabilityReview work prepared by others to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to GAAPPartner with the accounting team to maintain efficient workflows and strong internal controlsCompliance & Audit Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and applicable regulatory requirementsLead preparation of audit schedules and serve as a key contact for internal and external auditorsRespond to audit inquiries and support resolution of findingsProcess Improvement & Systems Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance controlsSupport improvements to accounting systems, workflows, and reporting toolsLeverage ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities to optimize reporting and analysisCross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight and support business initiativesContribute accounting expertise to cross-functional projects and strategic discussionsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior-level responsibilitiesCPA strongly preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirementsExperience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsProven analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial dataHigh attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracyDemonstrated ability to mentor others and work collaborativelyStrong communication, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset #INFEB2026 #ZRCFS #LI-KB1 EB-4727980529
