Home Care Caregiver Description We have a female client in Killearn we are looking to staff. She needs care daily from 4-6pm or 5-7pm. Her primary needs are dicing fruits and vegetables and preparing salads. She is willing to teach you in her preferred methods. She also needs some housekeeping- dusting, vacuuming, cleaning blinds, cleaning toilets, wiping surfaces. She is very direct and a little odd and will require someone with patience. She hovers over you a lot in the beginning but tends to lighten up after a while. Pay will likely be 18/hr. Times could possibly be adjusted for the right fit. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, medication assistance. Lift and transfer patients safely using proper techniques and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas to promote a safe environment. Document patient information accurately in electronic health systems as required. Experience Previous experience as a CNA/HHA or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Experience in assisted living or home community care settings is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential.
