This role is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery in a production environment while ensuring quality standards and safety procedures are met.Shift: F Shift - Weekend AMSchedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (12-hour shifts)Location: Berea, KYEmployment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines according to standard work instructions and verbal guidanceUse gauges and indicators to inspect product dimensions and ensure compliance with quality specificationsIdentify and report nonconforming products; determine good vs. no-good (NG) partsAssist with basic tool changes and fixture adjustments as neededPerform visual and manual inspections for defects or irregularities in workmanshipRecord production data daily for use by quality, engineering, and manufacturing teamsMaintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principlesFollow all work instructions, safety protocols, and environmental regulations (TS16949 / ISO14000)Maintain awareness of hazards and operate machinery safely at all timesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancementRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and understand work instructions and complete simple production documentationBasic math skillsManual dexterity and visual acuity (corrected, if needed) for accurate machine operation and product inspectionAbility to perform physical tasks including stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbsDemonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a production teamAcceptable scores on pre-employment assessmentsPreferred ExperiencePrior experience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with mechanical or electronic assembly, or high-speed machine operationSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNonePhysical RequirementsFrequent walking and manual handling throughout the shiftRegular lifting of up to 10 lbs; frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting of up to 50 lbsStanding, reaching, kneeling, and crouching as needed for equipment operationWork EnvironmentWork is performed in a plant environmentPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes, is required in designated areasExposure to machinery and industrial noiseNote: Incomplete applications will not be considered.
