Job Description SuperintendentJob Title: SuperintendentLocation: Fairfax, VASalary Rate: $120,000 - $150,000Key Responsibilities:Lead day-to-day MEP field execution across assigned areas, workfronts, and system prioritiesServe as Logan Pass Construction's primary on-site representative for MEP coordination with GC teams, trade partners, vendors, and field leadershipOversee delivery sequencing, equipment receipt, tagging, storage compliance, and installation readiness for major MEP assetsIdentify constructability issues, field conflicts, and sequencing challenges early; escalate risks with clear recommendationsSupport and coordinate site utilities, earthwork, concrete work, and ground-up steel building construction activitiesDrive short-range planning and field look-ahead activities aligned with the master project scheduleCoordinate major MEP milestones, workfront readiness, and subcontractor commitments for installation, energization, and startupTrack field progress, open items, and constraints that may impact turnover or downstream commissioningMaintain consistent communication with project leadership regarding status, risks, and upcoming needsLead site coordination for startup windows, vendor activities, and turnover readiness across assigned systemsVerify field readiness for energization and startup, including installation completion, access, documentation, and system availabilitySupport energization planning, LOTO coordination, and controlled execution around high-risk startup activitiesCoordinate startup witnesses, documentation collection, deficiency tracking, and closeout actions required for Level 3 completion and system handoffReinforce site safety expectations, quality standards, and disciplined execution across all MEP scopesVerify work aligns with drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and project requirementsMaintain organized field documentation, issue logs, and execution records supporting commissioning and closeoutSupport QA/QC walks, punch list resolution, and field verification activities tied to system readinessPosition Requirements6+ years of field supervision, superintendent, or lead execution experience in mission-critical, data center, or complex MEP/Cx environmentsExperience running full projects independently - this is a hands-on superintendent role, not a senior-level oversight positionStrong background in site utilities, earthwork, concrete work, and ground-up steel building constructionData center experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of construction sequencing, field coordination, QA/QC, startup, turnover, and high-risk activities, including energized work controls and LOTO planningProven experience coordinating with GC superintendents, trade partners, vendors, and client-facing stakeholdersAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, submittals, schedules, and field documentation, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environmentsProficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and digital field/commissioning tools preferredWillingness to support national project assignments and travel as neededCandidates who fill out skills and questions move to the front of the application process!BenefitsFull Benefits Included - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
