Network Engineer
Role: Network EngineerLocation: Hillsboro, OR (Hybrid - onsite 1-2 days per week)Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000 base salary + annual bonusPosition Type: Direct Hire C2C and third party vendors are not accepted or welcomed at this time Ledgent Technology is hiring a Network Engineer on behalf of a local Hillsboro‑based client. This role replaces a senior, hands‑on Network Engineer who owned the environment end‑to‑end and worked with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate is strongly engineering‑focused and comfortable operating independently in a production enterprise/data center environment. The RoleThis position will be the sole Network Engineer based in the Portland/Hillsboro area, responsible for designing, deploying, supporting, and improving the organization's network infrastructure. The role blends operational ownership with ongoing engineering and optimization work - it is not a purely administrative or ticket‑driven position.You'll work across corporate, data center, and multi‑site network environments, collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors, and ISPs while maintaining full technical ownership.
