Founding Account Lead

Location: San Francisco, CA, USA (Hybrid/Flexible) Reports to: CEO / General Manager Build the Office. Lead the Client. Shape the Growth. Awaken is launching in San Francisco. We have tripled in size in the past 12 months. We are expanding internationally and partnering with one of the fastest-growing AI data centre brands in the world. We are looking for our first US hire. This is not a traditional Senior Account Manager role. This is a founding role. You will help build Awaken’s US presence from the ground up. The Opportunity You will lead our flagship US client, a high-growth AI infrastructure brand operating at global scale. You will: Own day-to-day leadership of a major AI client in the US market Drive integrated media and creative execution alongside our global teams Partner with senior client stakeholders Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts Support new business conversations in the SF market Help shape the culture, structure and ambition of our US office You are not stepping into a mature structure. You are helping build it. Who This Is For You are currently a strong Senior Account Manager or Account Director ready for something bigger. You: Have 5 to 8+ years agency experience Are commercially minded and client confident Thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments Want influence, not just responsibility Are excited by AI, technology and challenger brands Have ambition to grow into an Account Director or Business Director role You are entrepreneurial. You are comfortable with changing dynamics. You want to help build something.
