The benefits of working in state government also include potential eligibility for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.The Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) is one of four programs within the External Affairs Division. The ACP helps survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, trafficking, and harassment from being found by their perpetrator through public records. This position reports to the Address Confidentiality Program (ACP) Mail Supervisor and, under general supervision, serves as the subject matter expert for confidential mail services that assist to protect confidentiality of participant addresses and forwards mail to the clandestine residence. The position acts as a liaison between the program and the USPS, and provides information guidance about program rules, policies and procedures to program participants.The incumbent will work primarily in an office environment with standard office equipment. This position requires sitting at a computer for long periods of time, working in an office environment with strict confidentiality requirements. The standard work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some weekend work is possible. Regular local travel to pick up and drop off mail. Ability to move and maneuver objects weighing 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to operate standard office machines such as copy machine, fax, telephones, postage machine. Works with both internal and external customers by phone, email, and in person; many customers are exposed to sensitive issues such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
