This opportunity offers exposure to complex accounting matters, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to influence how financial results are interpreted at a high level.Our client, an established, highly respected organization in the Philadelphia suburbs, is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a high-visibility team responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across multiple business areas.What You’ll OwnLead key components of the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliationsAnalyze financial activity across business units, including international operations, ensuring accurate treatment under GAAPPartner with internal stakeholders to understand transactions and translate them into clear financial resultsInvestigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and implement process improvementsStrengthen and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and complianceSupport external audit requests and contribute to audit readinessAssist in delivering monthly financial insights to leadershipParticipate in special projects tied to reporting, process optimization, and system enhancementsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-track preferred)3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a corporate or public accounting environmentStrong command of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting conceptsProven experience with general ledger activity, reconciliations, and month-end closeAbility to analyze complex data sets and communicate findings clearlyAdvanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasetsStrong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
