Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Director of Pharmacy or the Registered Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will perform a wide variety of technical and nontechnical services and assisting type activities throughout the pharmacy in accordance with State/Federal Standards of practice. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. License/Certifications: Must be licensed in the state of Maine as a Pharmacy Technician or a Pharmacy Intern. Certification Pharmacy Technician Status (CPht) preferred. Registration with the state of Maine or New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy. Experience: Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
