Kratos has an exciting opportunity for a Government Subcontracts Administrator in beautiful, Colorado Springs, CO. Serving as the point of contact for all assigned procurement matters during all phases of requisition and purchase order formation and administration to include legal requirements, terms, customer specifications, and government regulations.Responsible for management and administration of purchase orders and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as FAR and DFAR (and other) applicable laws and regulationsEvaluating purchase orders for conformance with company policies, practices, and standards to meet business objectives and to ensure compliance with customer specifications and government regulationsReviewing and negotiating terms and conditions, quotes, modifications, and other types of agreementsProviding active, creative, and business oriented solutions as part of reviewing quotes, statement of works, schedules, and deliverablesReviewing and analyzing Purchase Requests for thoroughness and compliancyProcessing PRs, purchase change orders, and RFQs to suppliersResponsible for procurement business system data input and integrityParticipating in vendor review and processing and utilizing different systems to ensure proper checks and balances have been initiated before onboarding of a vendorDeveloping new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitiveInteracting closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issuesWork with management to address all aspects of procurement support and product availabilityRespond to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.Work problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Build productive internal/external working relationships.Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.Other job duties as assigned.5 - 7 years minimum Government Contract or related experienceContract Administration Experience to include SBIR phase IIIPreferred Skills and ExperienceSharePoint experienceCostpoint experienceTS/SCI Security Clearance#LI-HybridThe grade-based pay range for this job is listed below.
