Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to work at our Springfield, PA location.The NP or PA acts as a physician extender and assists in coordinating all aspects of patient care. The physician extender is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. They are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care, oftentimes advising patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or providing case management. This role will support our current walk-in clinic, hospital rotation, and outpatient office.Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.Role and Responsibilities:Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.Orders, performs, and/or interprets the results of diagnostic tests.EKG rhythm identification and interpretation.Maintain patient confidentiality in all circumstances.Completing peer to peer reviews as per insurance requirementsActs as a clinical resource and role model, supporting staff education collaboratively with the RNResponsibilities will be split between the office and the hospital.Participates in development of cardiac care protocols and policiesCompleting peer-to-peer reviews as per insurance requirementsOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licenseMust have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in an Emergency Department, hospital or outpatient setting, additional cardiology experience preferredMust have the ability to multitask and work collaboratively with RN and support staffMaintains a positive, professional demeanor at all timesActive ACLS and BLS CertificationMust be familiar with medical emergencies and appropriate treatmentComputer knowledge is a mustExperience with an EMR systemMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsBenefits:Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time.*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus.
