Child Care Assistant

Job Description We are looking for a self-starting, creative, caring, reliable Daycare Assistant to help support a small, nurturing home daycare environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to help create a safe, fun, and engaging space for learning and play. ResponsibilitiesAssist with supervising children and ensuring a safe environment at all timesHelp with playtime, crafts, educational activities, and outdoor playPrepare and serve snacks and mealsAssist with diaper changes, potty training, and general hygiene routinesHelp maintain a clean and organized daycare space (toys, play areas, kitchen, etc.)Support nap time routinesCommunicate with the daycare provider about children's needs and behavior QualificationsEnjoys working with infants, toddlers, and young childrenPatient, dependable, and attentiveAbility to multitask and stay organized in a busy environmentCPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Previous childcare or babysitting experience is a plusProof of negative testProof of MMR and Pertussis vaccine If you are passionate about helping children learn and grow in a positive environment, we would love to hear from you!
