Responsibilities of this rolePrepare construction inspection summaries of daily activitiesReview drawings, specifications, and other contract documentReview detailed records of the contractor’s daily operations including manpower, equipment, construction methods, and events that affect the workManage the team of inspectors, coordinate their schedules and oversee their work and recordsMonitor work zone traffic control plan and identify discrepancies and potential issuesMonitor the erosion control plan and identify discrepancies and potential issuesVerify the dimensions and calculations of prepared and completed workAnalyze complex construction/design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures and consults with design engineering personnelInform Client on project issues and provide them with recommendationsMaintain construction project records in accordance with FDOT proceduresPerform/oversee the review of daily inspection reports and quantity computationsDirects and assigns specific tasks to inspectors and assists in all phases of the construction projectResponsible for the progress and final estimates throughout the construction project durationEnsure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports
