Division: Cyber & Information SecurityRole: Cyber Security ConsultantRegion: EuropeCountry: United KingdomPay: £45,000 per annumOverviewThe Cyber & Information Security Division at Bradburys Group is currently recruiting a Cyber Security Consultant responsible for assessing the security posture of our clients’ systems, networks and infrastructure and providing recommendations to enhance their cyber security defences. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific security requirements, conduct assessments and develop customised cyber security solutions to address specific needs.ResponsibilitiesFollowing an induction, on-boarding and training schedule, you will be required to:Conduct risk assessments and audits of clients’ systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknessesAnalyse security risks and threats and develop mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified issuesDesign and implement security controls, policies and procedures to protect against unauthorised access, data breaches, and other cyber threatsProvide guidance and recommendations on best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)Assist clients in incident response and remediation efforts in the event of a security breach or cyber attackCollaborate with clients’ IT teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of cyber security measuresStay updated on emerging threats, trends and technologies within the field and provide thought leadership and expertise to clients and internal teamsDemonstrate highest standards of customer-facing skills and customer careEssential RequirementsA five-year checkable work historyProof of Right to work in the UKBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Master’s degree preferred)Professional certifications in cyber security such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similarProven experience in cyber security consulting and experience in assessing, designing, and implementing cybersecurity solutionsDeep understanding of cyber security principles, practices, technologies and methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectivelyProficiency in cyber security tools and technologies, as well as industry standards and regulatory requirementsAn excellent command of English communication skills (written, oral, email)Ability to adapt at all timesExcellent time-keeping/time managementFull UK Driving licenceCore HoursFull-timeDisability Confident EmployerBradburys Group is a Disability Confident Employer, committed to building an inclusive and accessible workforce.
