This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Engineering Manager with:2D and 3D drafting, including creating models and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCADInterpreting and working from blueprints and technical drawingsPreparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM)Revising drawings and BOMs as neededSupporting quality assurance processes and updating designs prior to final releaseMaintaining strong communication and collaboration within the teamQualificationsProficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCADWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsHigh School Diploma required; Mechanical Engineering degree preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility with workload demandsAbility to read and interpret codes and government documentsReliable attendance and punctualityMinimum of 3 years drafting experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)College graduates are encouraged to applyElevator industry experience is a plusSkills & AbilitiesStrong computer skills, including in-house and Microsoft programsHigh proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Inventor expertise is highly valued)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsDetail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracyQuick learner with a proactive mindsetWhy Join IDEC?We recognize and reward talent with a comprehensive benefits package:Medical, Dental & Vision: 100% employer-paid for employees; 50% for dependentsRetirement: 401(k) planInsurance & Wellness: Disability, life insurance, AFLAC, and wellness programsPerks: Member discounts, paid vacation, and holidaysGrowth Opportunities: Career advancement within a supportive, team-oriented environmentAA/ EOE
