Job Overview Summit Skilled Solutions is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter/installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile installation and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Tile Setter/Installer, you will be responsible for laying tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces, ensuring precise alignment and adherence to design specifications. Tile Setter/Installer Responsibilities Measure and cut tiles to fit designated areas, ensuring accuracy in dimensions. Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives. Lay tiles in accordance with design plans, patterns, and specifications. Grout and seal tiles after installation to ensure durability and water resistance. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and heavy equipment. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times.. Tile Setter/Installer Qualifications Have at least 4 years experience as a Tile Setter/Installer or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in trim carpentry, flooring installation, drywall work, and stucco application is preferred Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and ability to read blueprints. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety regulations. Strong skills in using hand tools and operating heavy equipment as needed. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality results. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. .
