The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of assigned client locations through active patrols, monitoring, and enforcement of established security procedures. Daily responsibilities include observing and reporting unusual activity, controlling access to client premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with all operational and safety protocols. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment in both routine and high-pressure situations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine patrols of assigned properties to deter and detect security risksMonitor surveillance and alarm systemsEnforce site-specific security policies and proceduresRespond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and client requestsComplete detailed incident and activity reportsMaintain a professional and visible security presenceCommunicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and team membersQualificationsStrong observational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsKnowledge of basic security procedures and protocolsPrior security or related experience preferred (training provided)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to stand and walk for extended periodsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationMust meet all company and state licensing requirements
