Weare seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)or Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Charge Nurse within ourhealthcare facility. This vital leadership role involves overseeingpatient care including providing medications and treatments, completingassessments, communication with the physician, directing nursingassistant staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. Theideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, includingexperience with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care (PCC), and havea strong background in various care settings such as long-term care,assisted living, medical office or acute care with specialty areas likegeriatrics, skilled nursing and rehab and dementia care preferred. TheCharge Nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality patientcare while managing daily operations within a fast-paced environment.Berkshire Place is a Medicare 5 Star rated facility (the highestdesignation) and has some of the highest staff to patient ratios in theCountry with first class, modern facilities (including all privatepatient rooms)! Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive patientassessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations per careplans and medical orders. - Administer medications, treatments, performcatheterizations, gastrostomy tube feedings and other nursing dutieswhile adhering to HIPAA regulations and sterile techniques. - Documentall patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR Point Click Care(PCC). - Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratoryspecimen collection/processing, medical imaging coordination, anddiagnostic assessments. - Provide specialized care in areas such asAlzheimer\'s/dementia/memory care, hospice, infectious diseasemanagement, and orthopedic, cardiac and stroke rehab/recovery inaddition to common ailments associated with the aging process forlong-term care. - Respond effectively to emergencies such as acuteepisodes requiring rapid intervention.
