2nd Shift Mechanical AssemblerSAN DIEGO, CA Immediately Temporary/ContractDescriptionVolt is immediately hiring for Mechanical Assemblers in Miramar Ca.As a Mechanical Assembler you will:Day to Day ResponsibilitiesPerform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electric and pneumatic tools.Following established methods and procedures, must be able to perform, but not limited to, basic minor and major assembly operations necessary to build products such as arranging, grouping, placing, taping, sealing, welding, and floor packaging.Be able to read/comprehend and follow manufacturing work instructions in English.Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department.Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with supervision.Must have Manufacturing Experience.This is a full-time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Required Skills & Qualifications Must have Manufacturing ExperiencePrior assembly experience and good hand/eye coordinationPreferred Skills & Qualifications Customer service orientedExcellent oral / written communicationAbility to work as a team or independently.Schedule:Monday to Thursday 2:20pm - 10:50pmFriday 1:20pm - 9:50pmPay rate: $17.75 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
