Job Title: Database Architect/Data ModelerLocation: Hybrid / Austin, TXJob Type: ContractCandidates local to Austin, TX preferred !About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Database Architect/Data Modeler to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining database and system requirements, supporting data analytics, and enhancing business intelligence systems. The candidate will work under minimal supervision and have significant latitude for independent judgment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and evaluate business operations, applications, and programming to establish database and system requirements.Coordinate and gather data model requirements, assisting with the analysis, design, modification, and maintenance of database structures and architectures.Support data analytics and business intelligence systems while coordinating database changes to support new or modified applications.Develop and recommend standards, procedures, and guidelines for creating and maintaining data models and ensuring data completeness and quality.Review and assist with changes to logical and physical data modeling, metadata, and relational database models.Support improved data quality through reduction of data redundancy and fragmentation and elimination of unnecessary data movement.Assist in selecting data management tools and developing standards for their use to ensure database environment integrity.Perform root cause analyses related to information issues and non-conformance to data standards.Engage with various business groups to define and document data governance and stewardship practices.Required Skills And Qualifications3+ years of experience in database administration, data analysis, research, or architecture work in Oracle databases.Proven experience in data security, master data management, metadata management, and support for creating data dictionaries, data lineage flows, and documentation.Experience with defining and governing data modeling and design standards, best practices, and development of enterprise data models.Expertise in identifying and documenting data sources, risks, and data controls and translating privacy and security policies into procedures.Design and implementation experience with Informatica MDM and its integration with hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.Experience with enterprise data warehouse and storage design on both on-prem and cloud environments.Exposure to data classification, clustering, and deduplication methodologies.Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, Oracle and relational database management systems.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong critical thinking, analytical, and project tracking skills.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with Texas Project Delivery Framework.Knowledge of DFPS systems and programs such as IMPACT, PACES, ABCS, PEIRS, NEICE, e-Report, e-Travel, General Placement Search, and Community-Based Care.PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
