Production Machine Operator (Packaging Machines) Location: Portland, OR Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week Pay: DOE Environment: Hands-on production floor About the Role We’re hiring a Production Machine Operator to run and maintain our packaging equipment in a fast-paced, detail-driven production environment. This role is ideal for someone who’s mechanically minded, dependable, and takes pride in keeping machines (and product) running clean, consistent, and on spec. We hire attitude first—but this role does require prior experience operating packaging machinery. What You’ll Do Operate packaging machines (labelers, fillers, sealers, pre-roll or similar equipment) Set up, adjust, and break down machines for production runs Monitor quality, weights, labels, and seals to meet standards Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make real-time adjustments Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation Accurately complete production logs and batch records Work closely with production leads to hit daily output goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused workspace What We’re Looking For Previous experience operating packaging machines (required) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Comfortable working on your feet in a production environment Detail-oriented with a quality-first mindset Reliable, punctual, and able to work a consistent schedule Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive tasks Team player with a positive, get-it-done attitude Why Work With Us stable hours Small team where your work actually matters Opportunity to grow as production scales Straightforward expectations and hands-on leadership Disclaimer This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position.
