Painter

Position: Painter Shift: Day Hours: 6AM-2:30PM with some OT as needed Position Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to prep, clean, and paint valves for customer shipment. Job Responsibilities: Clean and wipe down valves Tape all ID tags and lever Put socket weld or buttweld covers on valves Prime valves and let dry Paint valves and let dry Remove all tape and affix open/close sticker on lever Clean lever and place valve on pallet May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor Skills & Abilities: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative, and organizational skills Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time Able to perform this job’s duties with or without reasonable accommodations Core Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent required, technical courses preferred 5+ years of industrial paint work experience in a manufacturing environment
