The Mammography Technologist uses specialized X-ray equipment to take images of the breast tissue and work with radiologists to interpret the results. The Mammography Technologist helps detect breast cancers early to improve the chances of successful treatment and survival.Minimum RequirementsCurrent State License or Certificate in state where they will be workingCurrent ARRT/CRT certifications requiredTwo (2) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred.TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableMust meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be comfortable working in the outpatient imaging center.
