Job Type: Contract Job Category: Nursing Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - OR Circulate Job Summary: As an OR Circulate Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures by managing the overall nursing care for patients in the operating room. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience for patients. Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Prepare operating room for surgery including setting up equipment and supplies 2. Assist with preoperative assessments and patient preparations 3. Scrub and gown for surgical procedures as needed 4. Circulate in the operating room to ensure patient safety and monitor vital signs 5. Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team 6. Assist with postoperative care and recovery 7. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely 8. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care Qualifications and Skills: 1. Valid US RN license 2. BSN degree preferred 3. Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience 4. BLS and ACLS certifications 5. Strong organizational and communication skills 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment 7.
