CNC Machinist (HERC)

Join Our TeamWe are a leading tool & die manufacturer specializing in large Class-A stamping dies. Right now, we're looking for talented CNC Machinists who bring experience, pride in their work, and a problem-solving mindset to join our team. Machinists will perform on-floor programming, tackling complex builds, and working with state-of-the-art CNC machines in a low-volume, high-mix environment. This position is 1st shift (days) at Hercules Tooling Group in Warren & Fraser.Primary ResponsibilitiesProgram directly at the machine using SMIRTSet up and operate large Vertical, and 5-AXIS CNC MillsProve out programs with NC programmers and troubleshoot on the flyMachine precision components to tight tolerances using a variety of materialsPerform drilling, milling, and tapping operationsUse precision measurement tools to inspect your workCollaborate with designers and team members to improve processes and resultsDocument operations and results for quality trackingPosition Requirements2+ years of experience with large Vertical CNC mills (tooling work preferred)Experience operating or programming Multi-Access CNC machines a strong plusSkilled in reading blueprints, understanding GD&T, and interpreting engineering documentationStrong proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection toolsAttention to detail, strong math skills, and solid mechanical aptitudeClear communication skills and a team-first attitudeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform essential functions safely and reliablyWho We Are: ArtiFlex Manufacturing designs and builds products and solutions for companies with tough challenges by employing people with a willingness and ability to be "Innovative.
