Dental Hygiene Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Dentrix, excellent bedside manner, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities: Welcome patients and prepare them for their checkups by ensuring their comfort (X-rays, Health history) Assist dental hygienists with patient care and procedures. Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials. Accurately document patient information and treatment plans in Dentrix. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless office operations. Sterilize instruments according to regulations Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Schedule re-care appointments Flip rooms Qualifications: Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional bedside manner and patient care skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
