This role involves delivering age-appropriate medical care through assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, while also focusing on the prevention of adverse events and ensuring follow-up care.Key ResponsibilitiesContinuously monitor and enhance quality patient care through exceptional customer service and performance improvement.Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, multidisciplinary team members, and medical staff.Prioritize quality and safety in all aspects of patient care delivery.Provide radiology services based on evidence-based guidelines in a timely manner.Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and maintain communication with referring clinicians.Perform procedures such as CT and Ultrasound guided biopsies, vascular access, IVC Filter placement and retrieval, nephrostomy, cholecystostomy placement, angiography, and embolization.Relay examination results and diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, and families.Complete all documentation in accordance with organizational policies.Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.Utilize the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system effectively.Engage in quality improvement initiatives, particularly in high-risk areas.Implement protocols for drugs, resuscitation, emergencies, power failures, and infection control.Serve as a teleradiologist for facilities lacking on-site radiologists.Adhere to medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.Treat all customers with courtesy, dignity, and respect, considering their views and feelings.QualificationsRadiography Credential: Physician MDExperience: Board Certification from the American Board of RadiologyWe invite you to explore this opportunity to join our dedicated team and contribute to the health and well-being of our community.
