As a CNA, you'll help residents feel comfortable, cared for, and respected by assisting with daily activities and providing compassionate support throughout the day. Your responsibilities will include:Answering resident call lights and responding with care and urgencyAssisting residents with daily living activities such as:DressingGroomingBathingOral hygieneHair careIncontinence careHelping residents during mealtimes and encouraging hydrationSupporting mobility, transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercisesAssisting with turning and positioning residents safelyTaking and recording vital signsDocumenting resident care and services accuratelyParticipating in care planning discussions with the healthcare teamProviding person-centered care based on each resident's preferences and needsCreating a positive, respectful, and uplifting environment for residents and coworkers alike What we're looking for:Current CNA certification in the applicable stateCompassionate and patient personalityStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situationsDependable attendance and professionalismCommitment to maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality Experience in long-term care is great, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
