We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.SummaryDrive the shuttle bus or van and provide direction and leadership to Rail drivers. Monitor the drivers to ensure they follow company policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesMeet with Rail Management to get the plan for the day. Ensure all of the drivers understand the plan.Shuttle Team Members to the correct vehicles according to the loading plan.Ensure drivers move vehicles safely and efficiently.Lead the Team Members by providing direction and any needed assistance.SecondaryCommunicate company guidelines and standards to Team Members and ensure they are followed.Correct any policy violations or poor performance immediately. Always report any incidents to the Rail Supervisor and / or Assistant Manager as soon as possible.Stay in communication with other Rail team members or departments as needed, to help ensure everyone is working together to achieve the goals for the dayLoad vehicles onto railcars and perform other Rail Loader duties as needed.Assist other departments as directed by Management.SkillsPrior leadership or supervisory experience and driving experienceEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to obtain and execute direct orders in a timely mannerAbility to lead a group of individualsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDSupervisory experience preferred 1 year of experience preferredGlovis America, Inc. adheres to the equal employment opportunity guidelines set forth by federal, state, and local laws.
