Business Analyst (m/f) He/she analyses an organisation's efficiency by studying its needs, its business model, its workflows, and its technological systems. The analyst makes recommendations to the Project Manager in technical development projects that will improve business efficiency. Job Duties Research possible software solutions to increase work efficiency Interpret data about company policies and workflows Support project teams during the analysis and planning stages of software development Work on other project phases such as implementation and testing Facilitate a successful release handover Comply with regulations and prepare for assessments for requirements such as Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Blockchains Estimate costs and time requirements of projects Evaluate risks and predict potential problems Develop quality assurance practices and assessments Write reports, instructions, specifications and create flowcharts Determine risk and return on investment for shareholders Act as liaison between the business and its Information Technology (IT) department Act as liaison between the business and its clients Use spreadsheets to record data on a project Evaluate key performance indicators Modify the business plan Facilitate meetings and educational workshops for team members Acquire knowledge of products or services provided by the business Ensure projects stay within budget and target spending requirements Incorporate user suggestions into projects Give final approval on a finished project Requirements and Qualifications High attention to detail and accuracy Clear and effective communication in speaking and writing Excellent at writing, reading, synthesizing and interpreting data models and creating database designs Experience writing and presenting clear and actionable data summary reports Exceptional critical thinking skills Organized and efficient Strong mathematical and statistical skills Experience using ETL data warehousing software Strong computer literacy and expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite, MS SQL and other data analysis programs Firm grasp of relevant computer systems Excellent data collection and systemization abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics or related field MBA preferred Proven aptitude as an analyst and technical aptitude for designing new databases Guarantee precision and accuracy in all work Strong Microsoft Suite skills, especially in Excel and MS SQL Experience using SAS Enterprise Guide Languages Fluent English and/or at least one of the following languages: Chinese, French, Spanish, Arabic, Hausa, Portuguese. #J-18808-Ljbffr
