Material Handler - 1st Shift

Job Description:This position is responsible for unloading and verifying inbound freight, while maintaining safety standards. This position uses a forklift to move raw materials for the majority of each shift.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Move raw materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using a forkliftOrganize and maintain overall appearance of the loading dock including raw materials, packages and pallets to ensure timely, accurate and careful deliveryDrive a forklift for a significant portion of shiftFollow proper maintenance procedures for the forkliftMaintain and report inventory needsMaintain documentation of inventory, shipping records, receiving inventory and receiving shipping recordsKeep work area clean and orderlyPerform job duties safely as outlined in the Raw Materials Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications and Skills:Forklift experienceCritical thinking and troubleshooting skillsBasic math skillsMechanically inclinedIndustrial work experienceAbility to become certified in forklift operationAbility to read and write in English to complete required documentationBasic computer skillsMinimum Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: N/ASystems: N/ACambria Success Factors:High attention to detailReliable and punctualDirect communicationSense of urgency in completing workCapable of multitaskingWork well both independently and with a teamSelf-motivatedPhysical Requirements:Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildingsLift up to 60 lbs.Push/pull 100 lbs.Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaksWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesWork in an outdoor environment in all weather conditionsWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shiftBend over multiple times throughout shiftTask Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:Steel toed bootsHearing ProtectionSafety glassesCut-proof glovesLatex glovesFace shieldRespiratorHigh visibility vestCambria's starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position.
