As a Diesel Technician, you will leverage the skills acquired during your military service to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles. This position is exclusively for U.S. Military Veterans who have received an Honorable Discharge.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehiclesDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and technical manualsConduct engine rebuilds, component overhauls, and part replacements with precisionInterpret work orders and technical documentation to determine repair proceduresMaintain accurate service records and ensure documentation complies with company and regulatory standardsUtilize military-level discipline and attention to detail in every repair or service taskAdhere to all OSHA and company safety proceduresCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and maintain high operational readinessCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders regarding job status and repair needsRequirementsRequirements: Must be a U.S. Military Veteran with an Honorable Discharge (documentation required)Proven experience working on diesel engines during military service (e.g., tanks, tactical vehicles, generators, transport trucks)Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical bulletinsFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentStrong problem-solving and mechanical aptitudePhysical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmentsValid driver's license (CDL is a plus)Preferred Qualifications:MOS/Rating background in mechanical fields such as (but NOT limited to):91B (Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic - Army)3521 (Organizational Automotive Mechanic - USMC)CM (Construction Mechanic - Navy)2T3X1 (Vehicle Maintenance - Air Force)Diesel or automotive technician certifications (ASE, OEM-specific, etc.)Experience with military or civilian fleet maintenance operationsCompletion of a military technical school or SkillBridge programBenefitsWhy Join Us?Veteran-friendly workplace cultureCompetitive pay and comprehensive benefitsContinued training and advancement opportunitiesTransition support and mentorship from fellow VeteransA mission-driven environment where your service is respected and valued
