Plumbing Apprentice – Start Your Career in the Trades *White River Plumbing – Anderson, Indiana* Looking for Recent High School Graduates! Are you a recent high school graduate looking for a *career in the skilled trades* instead of sitting behind a desk or taking on years of college debt? White River Plumbing is looking for a *motivated Plumbing Apprentice* who wants to learn a skilled trade, earn while they learn, and build a long-term career in plumbing. You don't need years of plumbing experience. *We'll teach you the trade.* What You'll Do * Ride with and assist an experienced Journeyman Plumbing Technician. * Learn residential plumbing diagnosis, repair, installation, and maintenance. * Assist with water heaters, drains, sewer work, water lines, fixtures, and other plumbing services. * Learn proper use and care of plumbing tools and equipment. * Help maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site. * Learn how to communicate professionally with customers. * Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and Indiana plumbing codes. * Take direction from experienced technicians and continuously improve your skills. You'll get the opportunity to learn both *in the field alongside an experienced Journeyman Technician and through formal plumbing education.* 30-Day Evaluations & Pay Raises Your performance will be evaluated *every 30 days*. Evaluations will include: * Attendance and punctuality * Work ethic * Attitude and professionalism * Ability to learn * Plumbing knowledge and skill development * Following instructions * Customer service * Safety * Care of company tools and equipment *Pay raises may be awarded based on performance and progress.* Raises are not automatic and will be based on your overall performance and development.
