Consello's investment business, Consello Capital, identifies high-potential mid-market companies and invests capital and expertise to transform their growth.Position OverviewAs an Investment Banking Associate, you will be a key member of our M&A team, working closely with senior bankers and advisors to deliver high-impact financial advisory services. You will play a critical role in supporting M&A, corporate finance and strategic advisory assignments, while also collaborating with the broader CEO advisory and investor relations teams to ensure seamless client service and value creation.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the execution of Investment Banking business activities. Leverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and strategic advisoryFinancial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, valuation, and modeling to support transaction execution and strategic decision-makingTransaction Support: Assist in the execution of sellside and buyside M&A, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and documentationClient Presentations: Prepare and present client materials, including pitch books, Board materials, investment memoranda, and management presentationsIndustry & Company Research: Perform market and competitive analysis to inform transaction strategy and client recommendationsProject Management: Coordinate and manage deal processes, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful executionCollaboration: Partner with the CEO advisory and investor relations teams to provide integrated solutions and insights for clients, supporting investor communications and strategic positioningQualifications:Professional Experience: 1–2 years of investment banking experience in a top-tier financial advisory or investment bank and at least 3-4 years of professional experienceTechnical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modeling and valuation skillsAnalytical Abilities: Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skillsCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with senior executives and clientsExperience in evaluating corporate transactions and structuresWork Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlinesTeamwork: Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional client serviceSeries 79 licenseIndustry Knowledge: Interest or experience in technology, finance, industrials, or consumer industries is a plusCompensation: $200,000 starting base salary, plus annual discretionary bonus.EEO Statement: Consello Group is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination.
