Line Cook

Vui Ve is looking for Line Cooks/ Prep Cooks to join our Back of House team. We are located at 319 E 2nd St #205, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Learn more about us on Instagram, @vuive.eats! *** Position is available for part-time Monday through Wednesday. Schedule is routined weekly and does not change. *** *** No experience needed. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to learn, a self-starter, and hard-worker.*** Responsibilities Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.) Cook food in various utensils or grillers Check food while cooking to stir or turn Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Check the quality of ingredients Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages Qualifications Strong attention to detail Follows directions and instructions Able to work as a team member Able to meet all scheduling commitments Able to anticipate the needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs We are looking forward to hearing from you.
