The IT and Ops Specialist plays a critical leadership role in driving the evolution of investment and operational platforms within Itaú U.S.A. Asset Management. This position partners closely with business leaders in Brazil, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable, integrated, and high-impact solutions aligned with global and regional strategies.About UsItaú Unibanco is the largest bank in Latin America, operating in 18 countries and celebrating 100 years of history in 2024. As part of this organization, Itaú Private Bank applies these capabilities to wealth management, combining human expertise with intelligent, data‑driven insights to deliver more personalized and forward‑looking solutions for clients.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a strategic owner for platform evolution initiatives, including technology roadmap definition, vendor selection, and investment prioritization.Oversee end-to-end project execution, including governance, risk management, and executive-level reporting.Lead cross-functional project teams delivering enhancements to core operational and investment platforms.Drive alignment and integration between systems, processes, and strategies across global and local operations.Partner with business stakeholders (portfolio managers, traders, and leadership) to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.Map, analyze, and optimize existing operational processes, driving scale through automation and the implementation of software-based solutions.Contribute to the design and development of software solutions supporting Asset Management systems, with a strong focus on electronic trading and OMS integration (Charles River).Champion continuous process improvement initiatives, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and operational excellence.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Proven experience in project management and vendor management within complex, regulated environments.Experience with software development, automation, and the application of AI-driven solutions.Strong understanding of performance management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives in parallel within fast-paced environments.Solid technical background in .NET (C#), SQL Server, and the architecture of complex, enterprise-grade systems.Prior experience in capital markets or asset management environments preferred.Fluent English and Portuguese required for collaboration with international teams and external vendors.
