Pool Retail Associate-Seasonal

Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Seasonal Pool Retail Associate to join our team during the busy summer season. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain retail experience in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service and supporting the sales of pool supplies and accessories. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-focused, and capable of handling various retail tasks efficiently. Prior retail experience are a plus, but not required. Duties Assist customers in selecting pool products, accessories, and supplies, providing product demos when necessary Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and merchandising activities Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Handle phone inquiries professionally with proper phone etiquette Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment Assist with promotional events and product demonstrations as needed Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores such as pool supply retailers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers effectively Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Experience with merchandising, stocking, and upselling techniques will be beneficial for success in this role This seasonal position provides valuable retail experience in a fast-paced environment while helping customers enjoy their summer by offering quality pool products.
