Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel contract at a critical access hospital in rural Minnesota, providing inpatient and outpatient PT services with no evenings, weekends, or call required.Job Details• Work setting is a 25-bed critical access hospital (CAH) with an associated outpatient department in a rural community,• Inpatient and outpatient general rural practice physical therapy,• Occasional floating to Adrian Clinic and Rock Rapids clinic may be required, with primary placement at the Luverne location,• Day shift, Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm,• No call, no evenings, and no weekends required,• There is a possibility of working independently if the staff Physical Therapist is off,• EMR is Epic; experience required,• Equipment used includes blood flow restriction devices, ultrasound/e-stim, iontophoresis, and general therapy equipment,• 12-week contract,Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required,• MN PT licensure required; IA PT licensure is a bonus,• Current BLS certification required,• License required if applicable,• General physical therapy skills across inpatient and outpatient settings,• 2 current professional references required for consideration: 1 from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years,• Skills checklist required for consideration,• All certifications must be active at time of consideration - no pending certifications accepted,Additional Information• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings in a rural general practice environment,• Orientation includes a department and hospital tour, Epic documentation training, and orientation to department-specific equipment; additional orientation provided based on individual skills and comfort level,• Well-established PT department with 7 full-time PT staff and one additional PTA; occupational therapy, speech therapy, and cardiac rehab are also part of the department,• PT staff are available for assistance and questions throughout the assignment,• Scrubs required: polo in ceil blue, khaki, gray, or chocolate brown; business casual is also acceptable,• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility,• Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date,
