The Radiologic Technologist will provide radiologic images as directed by the physician, maintains radiology equipment and supplies, and assists physicians and clinical staff as needed. Position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma
Certified Radiologic Technologist license
At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
Previous Orthopedic experience a plus
Previous experience with casting/splinting, phlebotomy a plus
Current on BLS
Strong written and verbal communication skills and cheerful attitude
Able to enter data into the computer system accurately; good spelling
Type 40 WPM
Fast paced self-starter
Highly organized and astute attention for detail
Provide outstanding customer service – must be friendly and compassionate to patients
Neat, professional look
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice
Maintains detailed knowledge of electronic health record and other computer software as it relates to job functions
Attends continuing education courses as requested
Performs additional duties as requested by Director of Clinic Operations
