Software Engineer, Applications
Series A robotics firm deploying foundation-model-powered arms for industrial automation
You are the engineer who prefers greasy factory floors to sterile server rooms, eager to bridge the gap between cloud-scale intelligence and physical actuation. Your days will focus on architecting the application layer that orchestrates adaptive robotic arms, ensuring seamless communication between Python-based foundation models and real-time hardware controllers. This is not a simulation; you will deploy containerized services directly onto edge devices to solve rigid, repetitive tasks for B2B clients across the Bay Area.
What we're looking for:
5 to 10 years of experience shipping production software with deep proficiency in Python and C#
Proven track record deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes across AWS, GCP, or Azure
Hands-on experience integrating software with physical hardware or simulation environments like Unity
Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco or South Bay area to collaborate directly with hardware teams
Must be based in the United States.
Tech stack: Python, Docker, Kubernetes, K8s, AWS, GCP, Azure, Unity
