Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc.Continuous Improvement Digital EngineerIndianapolis, IN, United States | req27660What you will enjoy doing*Your primary responsibility will be to develop and enhance digital tools that improve visibility, accuracy, and speed of data collection across ceramic and metallic powder manufacturing processesFurther, you will design and implement automated data capture systems, integrating sensors, equipment signals, and software to replace manual data gatheringYou will build dashboards, reporting tools, and data pipelines that help engineering and operations teams better understand process performance, variation, and trends, occasionally applying AI‐assisted insights when beneficialYou will support problem solving activities by providing high quality datasets and performing targeted analyses that uncover root causes and improvement opportunitiesUsing your technical expertise, you will streamline how information flows through the plant, improving system reliability and usability while incorporating modern analytical tools, when appropriate, to elevate data quality and interpretationYou enjoy working across functions, partnering closely with process engineering, operations, maintenance, and IT to ensure digital solutions are effective and well adoptedYou will contribute to continuous improvement projects by supplying meaningful data insights that support Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM activitiesYou will manage portions of medium sized digital projects, helping plan work, track progress, identify risks, and ensure new tools integrate smoothly into existing systemsIn addition, you will create clear documentation and train users as new tools roll out, supporting long term sustainability of digital improvementsYou will deliver measurable results by improving data quality, increasing automation, and enabling more informed decision‐making across the facilityWhat makes you greatYou have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldFive (5) years of experience implementing digital, automation, or data focused solutions in manufacturingHands on skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming/scripting languages, with some exposure to modern data analysis or AI‐supported toolsExperience working with PLCs, SCADA, MES, historians, or sensor systemsYou have the ability to build dashboards using Power BI, Grafana, Ignition, or similar toolsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to convert raw data into actionable insightsUnderstanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous‐improvement methodologiesIn addition, you have experience participating in multi‐stakeholder projects, preferably involving digital systems or process optimizationStrong communication skills and a structured approach to technical problem‐solvingWhy you will love working with usLinde Advanced Material Technologies, formerly Praxair Surface Technologies, is a company that revolutionizes industries through innovative materials and surface coatings.
