CONTROLLER Location: East Portland, OR (On-site) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 DOE About the Role CV Resources is partnering with a growing company in the East Portland area to find an experienced Controller to lead financial operations across multiple entities. This role will oversee the accounting department, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage financial operations, internal controls, and accounting systems. Oversee AR/AP functions and vendor relationships. Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth. Develop and maintain budgets based on historical data and financial trends. Monitor cash flow and income across multiple entities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to leadership. Prepare financial forecasts, analyze variances, and drive process improvements. Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience. Experience: 7 years in accounting/finance roles. 5 years in a senior management or Controller position. Multi-entity experience required; industry experience in retail, distribution, petroleum, or related fields is a plus. Experience with third-party audits, bank covenants, and financial reporting preferred. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate finance principles. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
