You owe it to yourself to consider this great new opportunity.Temp to Hire 1st Shift, 8 am-4:30 pm (Monday-Friday) Pay Rate: $29-33/hrWhat's a typical day as an EHS Specialist? You'll be:Ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and company policies related to safetyConducting safety meetings, work site and equipment inspections, and accident investigationsAssessing employee injuries and providing follow-up, case management, and reportingSupporting DOT policy implementation and control, and coordinating employee training programsAuthoring and revising safety-related SOPs and training documentationActing as a liaison with community emergency response agenciesManaging hazardous waste generation and removal programs for the facilityOverseeing safety on project sites and conducting routine safety auditsEnsuring OSHA, state, and company compliance and preparing for regulatory and third-party auditsThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have prior experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)Possess knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous waste management, and safety program implementation (must-have)Have strong investigative, analytical, and reporting skills to address incidents and compliance issuesDemonstrate excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skillsAre detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesHold relevant certifications or education in EHS or related fields (preferred)Are available for the specified shift and have schedule flexibilityOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
