Finance Management System Migration ProjectWe are looking for an experienced Business/Functional Analyst to join our team for Phase I of our finance management system migration project. In this phase, your main task will be to conduct a feasibility study and produce deliverables that will inform Phase II. Specifically, you will be working on aiding in the "build vs. buy" decision and providing scoping and functional specification documents for implementation.Key Responsibilities Analyze and assess the state NCFS system and the DES FARS system, including their subsystems. Document system functions, inputs, outputs, and reporting requirements. Collaborate with business subject matter experts (SMEs) and developers to gather and document Phase I business requirements, focusing on cost allocation and associated financial modules. Conduct fit-gap analysis between FARS and NCFS system features to map and identify gaps. Create detailed functional specifications and requirements documents. Develop solution design documents to support development and implementation efforts. Assist in the creation of test suites and test cases for testing and validation of solution modules. Prepare and present status reports, risks, and concerns to stakeholders. Provide deliverables to support the "build vs. buy" decision and contribute to Phase II of the project implementation.For this role, the W-2 rate goes up to $45/hour.
