Job Description Role WordPress Web Developer (Full-time, Hybrid) responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites using Elementor for local government clients. The role emphasizes fast, ownership-driven delivery, strong UX and conversion focus, and continual improvement of workflows through AI and automation. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor Translate client requirements into functional, user-friendly website experiences Optimize websites for usability, engagement, and conversion Perform updates, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance Troubleshoot issues found through testing or client feedback Collaborate with internal teams (IT, GIS, Products, Sales) to deliver projects Follow and improve SOPs to support scalable website delivery Manage multiple website projects and timelines Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) daily to accelerate design, development, and content workflows Explore and test new AI tools and build repeatable systems (templates, prompts, automations) to reduce manual work Requirements 5+ years of WordPress website design and development experience (WordPress experience listed as 8 years required) Experience with Elementor and WordPress plugins (Pressable, ManageWP, IWP, JetPack mentioned) Familiarity with Google Analytics and performance tracking Basic understanding of SEO Experience with ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA compliance (or willingness to learn quickly) Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience improving workflows and creating scalable processes Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year Benefits: 401(k), health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, health savings account, life insurance, paid time off Schedule & Location Full-time, 8-hour shift Hybrid work environment with office located in Farmers Branch, TX (zip 75234).
