This is perfect for nurses looking for consistent hours and meaningful, one-on-one care with pediatric clients.Schedule:-Night shift -It can be Part-Time or PRN Shift-8p-6a Wed, Friday, & Saturday What You'll Do: • Assist with G-tube feedings, meds, suctioning orally as needed, resp Tx twice daily• Provide compassionate pediatric care & assist with ADLs • Administer medications• Deliver consistent, high-quality one-on-one supportKey ResponsibilitiesProvide skilled pediatric home care in accordance with the individualized plan of careAssist with and perform G-tube feedings and medication administration as prescribedPerform oral suctioning as needed and administer respiratory treatments twice dailyAdminister medications accurately and safely per physician orders and care protocolsDeliver consistent one-on-one patient support to ensure safety, comfort, and quality careAssist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and positioningMonitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or clinical teamMaintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach while supporting pediatric clients and familiesEnsure documentation of care provided is completed accurately and in a timely mannerComp & Benefits:At BrightStar Care® we value our employees and care about their well-being. Private duty, home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferredStrong clinical skills. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervisionCertified CPR/BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-rayLicensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required)Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectivelyMust be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.
