Job DescriptionPosition: Floater Administrative AssistantReports to: DirectorGeneral Overview:The Floater Administrative Assistant supports both classroom and administrative operations, with approximately 80% of the time dedicated to classroom support and 20% to administrative tasks.Key Responsibilities:Support classrooms daily, supervising children and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.Cover teacher breaks and step in as needed across classrooms.Assist with basic administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and parent communication.Support tours, enrollments, and follow-ups with prospective families.Help ensure compliance with licensing regulations and internal policies (DCDEE).Maintain communication with staff, parents, and leadership.Assist with organization of materials, supplies, and general center needs.Profile:Bilingual (English/Spanish) with strong communication skills.Organized, flexible, and proactive.Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.Experience in childcare (minimum 6 months) and administrative support (preferred).Relevant education or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field.Required certifications (CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Background Check, etc.).
