Your deep expertise in the.NET ecosystem and ability to communicate effectively within an Agile environment will be crucial to delivering impactful solutions that drive business value.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of software solutions for commercial and government clients using modern.NET technologiesProvide mentorship and technical guidance, fostering professional growth within the teamCollaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectivesArchitect scalable, maintainable, and secure applications using.NET Core/NET 6+ and related frameworksEnsure best practices in coding, architecture, and Agile methodologies are followedConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code qualityDrive technical decision-making and approach complex problem-solving with innovative solutionsAdvocate for the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance project outcomesDrive continuous improvement initiatives across teams and projectsQualifications6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong technical foundation in.NETExpertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and related frameworks for building enterprise applicationsExperience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.jsExperience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)Strong knowledge of database design, Entity Framework Core, and SQL/NoSQL databasesDeep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and SOLID principlesProficiency in Git-based workflows and software development lifecycle managementExperience with automated testing tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Moq, or equivalentExperience leading teams and mentoring developers in a consulting or technical environmentProficiency in assigning tasks for team, distributing work responsibilities according to team member strengthsExperience serving as a leader for task execution and troubleshooting efforts in support of projectsStrong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementationExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of trunk-based development practices such as using feature flagsKnowledge in instrumenting an application for observabilityExperience with DevOps and Continuous Delivery tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub ActionsFamiliarity using GenAI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and GitHub CopilotKnowledge of DORA principles and processesExperience in monitoring, logging, and observabilityUnderstanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and implementing accessible applicationsExperience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)This range represents the minimum and maximum base salary that Excella reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role. Actual compensation within the range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top or bottom of the range. Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus in addition to the base salary. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of shared firmwide goals and objectives as determined by Excella's Executive Team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. Should your experience and knowledge qualify you for a different position or title within Excella, we may consider you for positions that better align with your qualifications.
